This was an amazing exploration - it's like my life's work, tied into a tidy bundle (I've studied all the syncretic forms which make up Human Design).
I like your writing style, too. Someone else who has explored the spiritual side of what has happened to humanity is an Aussie, MaMu, "Be Your Own Doctor." He focuses on Advaita Vedanta, a philosophy which arises out of Hindu & Yogic thought - but - y'all have very similar 'tudes on how we are to get through this.
In fact, prior to Human Design stumbling in my way, I was an advent practitioner or follower in that route. The Hindu-yogic philosophy resonated with me. Tough-to-the-ordinary concepts like ‘surrender’ weren’t too complex for me to grasp and I’ve accepted them from a rather young age.
The first thing I was drawn to was the science of yoga (Kriya Yoga). I was drawn to the purification and alignment of the body because I understood intuitively that the body is a conduit for consciousness and if the body is not aligned and purified then consciousness can not be fully potentiated.
From then on it extended to periods of asceticism, absenteeism, whatever you want to call it - journeys to centers and even ashrams - to continue the development. But since I’ve never been a follower of a crowd, I never became part of that clique. Very fast I also discovered that most of it was merely a display of an idea, but without the substance. I’m someone who is an abstract experiential person, but I am offsetted with some strong logic.
And so what bothered me was that no one had actually shown me how to surrender. Everyone had a great command of the jargon and really played the part very well. I couldn’t find a mechanical system that showed me step by step what to do. Yoga was indeed very close to that but I found it too archaic when it comes to the mundane.
“Well, fine, but what do I do at the grocery shop, at the taxi driver, and when I pay my bills?”
So what happens, because there is no clear system, you end up seeing people acting out the idea of surrender which becomes a homogenized behavior of spirituality. All I saw was people acting an idea of being spiritual, while they were running away from life. Wherever I went in the world I saw the same thing: misfits running away from the world disguising it under the external façade of robes, beads and turbans.
It’s what’s called in acting, ‘indication’.
When an actor first gets a script, they read that the character they’re supposed to be playing in a particular scene is described as going over some emotional thing or behaving in a certain way.
An untrained or a bad actor will then approach doing the scene on stage or in front of the camera, by the color of the description they had read when they first got the script. They would then try to emulate or indicate to the audience through an imposed behavior. In that way the acting becomes artificial because it doesn’t come from an organic place.
So in life. We are all actors on a stage, and many of us develop an “indication behavior” in our own life, indicating an idea our mind is drawn to. Over time it becomes artificial. From then on it becomes habitual, and then it settles in the cellular memory, running in the background.
So for me, Human Design was the thing that sealed the deal. It was the first logical system that translated the illusion into concrete mechanical steps: how to navigate as oneself in the mundane world, and how to prevent falling into the trap of indication.
The genius behind it is that it finally takes a rather amorphous topic such as 'conditioning' and 'aura', and maps them in a very precise and logical way. It’s a mathematical model.
It’s truly a unified field theory - what scientists have been looking for for ages. When you actually break it down and reverse engineer the system you realize how simple, and at the same time, how complex it is. It cannot be man made. No matter how sophisticated we’ve become in designing systems, no human could have come up with such order and juxtaposition of components.
The enormous value of it is that it uniquely maps one’s differentiation.
Modern science spends billions of dollars trying to come up with genetic testing. Here, on the other hand, the individual can retrieve their individuation for free. They also spend billions of dollars trying to find corollaries between genetics and decision making. Here, on the other hand, the individual has direct access to it without dependence on outer authorities. It poses a huge advantage.

As an advent of any new system, Human Design brings with it new messages:
One, which is a major aspect of the knowledge I haven’t included in the above post, is that it informs us that humanity is divided into four Types.
Like the bee and ant world, it reveals to us that we are divided into specific roles and that the division is not a philosophical construct, but rooted in our form. That is, each Type has a unique aura that defines the Type.
In other words, the aura speaks for us. It’s our greeting card to the world when we meet each other. And so when the individual is coming to terms in recognizing the mechanics of their being, they can simply align to the demands and specification of their aura, and by that remove resistance from their life.
The second, evident in its graphics, we’re no longer seven centered beings, but nine. The fact that our culture is filled with images of seven chakras is a reflection of the old consciousness we still embody, not suitable to the times. It’s reflected all around the world by the level of instability and dysfunction, which we haven’t seen anything yet, in proportion to what’s coming.
Third, is that the advent of nine centered being is basically an evolutionary mutation. That, at our current stage, we are an interregnum between past and future. The evolutionary mutation is taking place in the solar plexus and it's here to finalize its development into a full stand-alone awareness.
Everything you see right now in terms of bizarre phenomena, unstable behavior, rapid cancer, psychological issues, emotional instability, gender dysmorphia and 1001 other side effects are all connected to the evolutionary mutation that will take hold in 2027.
Lastly, Human Design brings an accurate view about the nature of global cycles, determined by the procession of the equinox, which are like Earth years. Global Cycles determine a global frequency all over lifeforms for 412 years, each round. In 2027, the same year the mutation will take hold, is also the year we’re moving towards a new global cycle.
We get a double whammy.
Everything we see and experience around us, such as the breakdown of our institutions, are things that have been predicted by Human Design already 30+ years ago. They are a byproduct of the coming global cycle. We're moving from a very fertile, communal age, which brought us growth and focus to develop skills, into a very individual and selfish cycle, in which everyone is to themselves and "the hell with the consequences".
Coupled with the evolutionary mutation, as you can see evidently around you, the transition marks a tension between becoming automatons or to individuate, in which the evolutionary process is favoring the former. We're being "shut down".
Therefore, there’s a spiritual crisis that’s brewing under the surface in which it’s only up to the individual to confront on their own, particularly young parents, who in their awareness or lack of it, will determine whether their children will become dead men walking or fully integrated humans who are their own authority.
.
.
So this is to give you a broad perspective to understand why the HD was revealed.
In a way we’re not supposed to know how the "cogs operate under the hood". But since this marks an end to a very long line and an old order, a very tiny minority of us (I reckon something like a quarter of a quarter of a percentile of the world population) gets in door to know, so they can surf with the radical change, rather than be swept by it into the abyss.
A possibility to navigate as ourselves in an age where no one knows where to go, so we can find our own place. Because it’s in being in the right place that determines the path of least resistance. The caveat, as it has always been, is that the mind can never know where the right place is. Only the body, and the supreme consciousness that runs it. This is it!

Yes, I’m familiar with Advaita Vedanta.
